How Geocaching Works
Located in the 70 acre Stratham Hill Park.
A short hike with an elevation gain of about 150 feet will bring you to the top of Stratham Hill. On the way up check out what happened on July 4, 1860 at N 43 02.430 W 70 53.525. At the summit there is a fire tower that is worth the climb for the views. There is also a survey viewfinder near the tower that describes the scenery you are looking at.The cache is in an ammo box and contains the usual items as well as a geocoin for the first finder.Do NOT go during the Stratham Fair ( end of July annualy ) as you will have 75,000 muggles to deal with. Pets are allowed but not on the ball or playing fields.Parking is at N 43 02.475 W 70 53.605
