Moderate hike, clear maintained trail, buried in rocks, watch out for snakes during warm weather.

Approx. 1 mile up the trail you will come to a large dirt area. You must veer to the right go up a hill and down. Follow the trail until it veers to the right again. Straight ahead is the San Fernando Valley framed by rocks. Just to the right of that view is where you will look. This is where a scene of Tom Cruise's Lions to Lambs was filmed. They turned this area into a wintery snow scene. This is our first cache. It is in a green ammo can. This one is a bit out of the way if you're heading up the main trail, but hey, a cache is a cache. I got some good exercise going up and down that hill too.

One of a handful of finds during a quick hike this afternoon. I took the detour and found the cache. Nice hide. TFTC!

A little bit of bushwacking for this cache, not too bad. Lucked out with perfect overcast weather today. TFTC

Gosh! This one took a bit of hiking to get to. It was a really pretty day though - so it was a lot of fun getting to it. The area the cache was in was really serene and peaceful. Thanks!

I wanted to get out of the house for a while today and ended up at this cache. Boy was going up a hill like this ever long over due for me. Nothing beats a difficult hike after having done a bunch of park and grabs. This area is so beautiful, I just love the hills. I found the cache without a problem. Thanks for the hide.
