Moderate hike, clear maintained trail, buried in rocks, watch out for snakes during warm weather.
Approx. 1 mile up the trail you will come to a large dirt area. You must veer to the right go up a hill and down. Follow the trail until it veers to the right again. Straight ahead is the San Fernando Valley framed by rocks. Just to the right of that view is where you will look. This is where a scene of Tom Cruise's Lions to Lambs was filmed. They turned this area into a wintery snow scene. This is our first cache. It is in a green ammo can. Contents: Travel Bug- HGXBH1 (Traveled from DA' TOWER) Marble game Lanyard Brighton sun glasses case. Like I always do, I took the hard way there. Jumping down rocks and getting cut up by branches I made it to the cache with my son. After a few minutes found the cache and waited afew more minutes so my son could find it himself. Next time I'll take the trail... but then again it more fun this way :-) Took TB left TB. TFTC.

We are all talking about the rain today but I am certain that if was hot we would really be complaining about the heat. I'd rather have the rain. TFTC

The Friday Caching Crew was out on a cool and rainy Wednesday for a few more caches before years end. This was only one of several we found today. This was one of the early caches we found today. It was early and while there was a light mist and fog, we weren't wet yet. By the end of the day we were soaked. We found the Ammo can quickly. Thanks for the hide. TNLNSL.
