This is a cache in a series that are all on similar structures. You will first find a small object that will direct you to the cache. The object and cache are located on the structure. The neither portion of the cache is in the street. When you get close to the cache site, it should be abundantly clear what the structure is.
You are looking for a common object in plain sight. On the object will be a number, a letter and word. The number is the number of feet away from the object the cache is located. The letter indicates direction and the word is the missing word in the coded clue. HINT: if you can't see the letters on the object, just wipe some dirt over it and they should show up clearly.
Being a bit afraid of heights myself, these structures have always interested me because the scare me, but are safe. I did some research on these structures, but found very little information on them. They are utilitarian structures that are still a bit unique.
As always, be discrete, but you can take some liberties, because most people will just pass you by.
This particular structure has a personal interest to me not only because it is the highest and scares me the most, but also because when I was in high school I had friends who would climb over this structure on the OUTSIDE of it. Something I neither would recommend or do, but it was in vogue at the time. YIKES!
