Come join us for a picnic at the beautiful cascade falls inside the FDR State Park.
If your not familiar with the trails we recommend stopping by the park office for a trail map from the Pine Mountain Trail Association.
We will meet at Cascade Falls at 12:00 Noon - 1PM for a picnic lunch.
The trail is moderate as trails go, so I wouldn't recommend bring a grill along.
Please come and join us for a nice lunch and fellowship with other trail lovers and cachers.
Show us your trail savvy for cooking meals or just bring along a PB&J sandwich and can of soda!
We will hang out for about a hour or so then split up to hike our way out.
These Falls are located on the Wolfden Loop of the Pine mountain Trail.
The trail is listed as 6.7 miles, the falls are approx. 2 miles from the east end or
about 3 miles from the Rocky Point Parking lot.
The Wolfden Loop is home to about 28 cache containers
and 1 of the waypoints for the multi called Pine Mountain Trek
is along the trail

There is the standard parking fee as you are inside a GA State Park.
