How Geocaching Works
A camoed dog-treat jar...(might drive your dog crazy!)
This cache is placed as part of my continuing 'Family series' of cache hides in local parks , this one in Franklin's 'Lion's Baseball Field'... a nice 2-diamond field with ample parking and some woods around it to hide my caches in . This one I named after Tom , who , back in 2010 , got me interested in Geocaching during a camping trip out in New Glarus .
(I never DID officially record those finds , by the way ...a future trip , maybe!)
He's a handy guy , loves the outdoors, and luckily for me, is married to my second daughter , Maureen , also honored with the nearby cache ..'Mo's Teacher's Pets' .
Look out for the colony of 'burrowing creatures' ,and their holes, guarding the approach to this one ...
I never promised you a rose garden -- but a thorny challenge ? You bet ! ...Tom would expect no less !
FTF honors go to Nana/Papa ....sorry Rollie and Hugh on the initial difficulty --you get Honorary Awards, however!
PLEASE..HIDE WELL IN A NATURAL FASHION AFTER FINDING
