Geocache Description:


This cache is located in the Len Rutter Park home of the Rand Society of Model Engineers. The park consists of approximately 33000 m2 and houses a Lapa and Playground Equipment. Although the park is regularly frequented by migrants the cache area is located on the side of the park close to a parking area.
The Model Engineers runs the incredible mini steam trains which operate every 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month. It's a wonderful experience for kids and adults!

This park is also occasionally used for orienteering by the Rand Orienteering Club

The cache is located on the ground inside a water proof container. The original contents are:
• Personalised GeoTowel for the FTF (Model Cache)
• Toy Dinosaur to guard the cache
• Customary old Euro coins
• Sand in a bottle

Moved cache to new location after cache was raided. New co-ordinates are at:
S26 09.722 E27 54.694 which is about 200 m east from original location. The new location is an easy grab but please keep a watch out for muggles and avoid the park from dawn to dusk.
