On your way to Faros beach about 10-12 klm's northeast from the
port of Agios Kyrikos you will find a handmade road sign leads you
to the beach of Agios Georgios and the remains of Drakano
fortress.After 15 minutes of driving on the gravel road you have to
park your car somewhere around the coordinates N37 40.953 E026
21.545.From this point you have to walk about 1.5 klm in order to
reach the chapel of Agios Georgios and one of the most the
beautifull beaches of the island.When you reach the chapel location
you can start searching for the cache and enjoy the great views to
the beach,and to Samos and Fournoi islands.
The cache is a medium size tupperware box and originally contains
some items for you to exchange,a logbook,a declaration in English
language and a pen but bring you own just in case..Happy geocaching
and enjoy your swimming to this perfect place.
