Geocache Description:

A picturesque location near the River Wye, King Arthur's Cave is said to (possibly) be one of the locations where the King and his Knights rest until Britain needs them again.

Stone age man lived here over 12,000 years ago and excavations have found bones from wooley rhinoceros, lion, bear and mammoths.

Easiest access is via the A40 and heading to Dowards Hill / Biblins.

You may want to take a torch to explore the caves.

This area is a great place to explore, but please be careful as there are some steep drops. Most dangerous drops are fenced off, so there is no need to worry unduly.

Difficulty rating due to poor GPS reception under trees.
Spoiler picture may be needed if your GPSr doesn't get a signal under trees.
