Cache is located in the Ochoco National Forest at an elevation of 5435'. It is just off a cross country ski trail developed and maintained by the Ochoco Nordic Club.
Like, "High Rim", this ski trail cache will be easy to get to and find in the summer and fall, but come winter you had better get out your cross country ski's (or snowshoes) and get in shape. Be prepared for bad weather at all times. Expect about a four mile ski to find the cache and return to the Walton Lake snow park (where a snow park permit will be required starting Nov. 15).
