Geocache Description:

"What is the case Dad is working on for you?" Frank said.

"I've been running an armored car service for ten years," the big man explained. "Recently one of my trucks was hijacked and a shipment of gold coins was stolen. The money is insured of course, but these are rare and valuable indian coins. Your father found this folded sheet of paper with these strange numbers. He said you could help me find the gold."

"Hey, I know what these numbers mean!" Joe exclaimed.

"Let's get a move on while the trail is still hot!" Frank urged.

"Oh yeah, if you find the gold there's a reward in it for ya, Twenty gold pieces" the man shouted out the door after the Hardy Boys. Neither Frank nor Joe stopped to acknowledge the man, they were on a Hunt for Hidden Gold.

a bit later...

Speeding down the highway, Joe unfolds the note.

"Hey Frank, what do you think this means?" Joe asked. "Start at the sign for the no-ball golf course. Head down the trail to find the tree with a tag on it's branch."

Rated using the Geocaching Rating System written by Scott Thomason (brokenwing)

Increase the difficulty of the hunt by 1 if hunted during warm months. This cache is best hunted between October and March.

Please do not leave water bottle or insect repellent bottles in the cache. They leak and damage the contents. I have had a couple of problems with items leaking. This is a small cache so that may not be relevant. Also, please do not leave any food products or anything that smells like food (i.e. fruit scented items). Animals will find and destroy the cache if you do. Thanks.
