Geocache Description:

Hidden near AGHH! POTS AND PANS!

Cache is a film cannister; bring your own pen!

The Bakonawa is from Philippine Mythology. The Bakonawa appears as a gigantic serpent that lives in the sea. Ancient natives believed that the bakonawa caused the moon or the sun to disappear during an eclipse.
It is said that during certain times of the year, the bakonawa arises from the ocean and proceeds to swallow the moon whole. To keep the bakonawa from completely eating the moon, the natives would go out of their houses with pans and pots in hand and make a noise barrage in order to scare the bakonawa into spitting out the moon back into the sky.

The "Numereous Numens" series of geocaches is inspired by the various gods and goddesses of different cultures. We have chosen a certain few from various ancient and not so ancient religions. However, instead of using the most famous and easily recognized, such as Zeus and Thor, we have decided to throw the limelight on some of the subordinates. This means, you will have to do a bit of research.

Here is how it works. There are 8 micros, representing 8 minor deities. Each micro has a number written on the lid of the container. This number corresponds with a digit in the co-ordinates of the final cache, Amotken. To reconstruct the co-ordinates you must retrive the number from the deity's cache, then match the deity to a trivia question. Each trivia question has a designated co-ordinate spot. If you need help with the trivia, let it be known that the major resource for our research was wikipedia, and encyclopedia mythica.
