Date: Saturday March 14
Time: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM (early!)
Location: Belleview Park in Steubenville, Ohio (just off of University Blvd.)

You remember pi from math class, don't you? It's the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, commonly used as a symbol for math lovers everywhere.

The actual number of pi is 3.1415926... (the numbers continue on and on forever). March 14, 2015 at 9:26 will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where the calendar date and time will match pi perfectly: 3/14/15 9:26. To commemorate this unique occasion, Geocaching.com is giving all geocachers the opportunity to receive two profile souvenirs: one for attending an Event Cache, and another for logging a find on an Unknown/Mystery Cache. Both the Event Cache and Unknown/Mystery Cache the must be logged on 03/14/15 to receive the souvenirs. You can read more about that HERE.

Our Pi Day 2015 Meet & Greet will last about an hour. In addition to the usual socializing, sharing stories, trading trackables, etc., we will be giving away some free prizes, eating some pie for breakfast, and maybe even singing the song "American Pie" by Don McLean. For your convenience, we hope to have at least one new permanent easy Unknown/Mystery Cache published, so that you can earn both Pi Day souvenirs. Remember to log the number attending in your party in your "Will Attend" log. We hope to see you there!
