Geocache Description:

This is a letterbox hybrid cache. Follow these simple directions to a micro that will hold the coordinates to the final cache. Once at the final, use our stamper to stamp your book and use your stamper to stamp our book. If you do not have a stamper, then ONLY sign your caching name using one of the colored markers in the box. You can also draw a picture if you wish. Small trade items are always welcomed. BUT Please keep everything found in the pencil box there. Do not trade out these items.

The above coordinates will get you to a parking lot. From there follows these directions (Keep the parking coordinates in your gps for future distant comparison.)

Starting from the parking area, TURN RIGHT

Almost immediately TURN LEFT on the road that has a sign for a church and schools.

Continue on this road until you get to the STOP SIGN WHERE YOU SEE THE CHURCH IN FRONT OF YOU. BEAR RIGHT

Continue to the STOP SIGN AFTER CROSSING THE BRIDGE. You should be approx. .83 miles from starting point.

TURN LEFT and continue until you find the 3rd legal parking area ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD surrounded by large stones and pine trees with idenification markers and across the street from a grove of identified trees too. PARK IN THIS LOT.

Now get out of the car and:

Walk down the gravel road about 50 paces, stop and turn right. Now look for the abies concolor or white fir tree as we know it. Here you will hunt for a micro that will have the coordinates to the letterbox cache. Yeah right! you are thinking. One hint: it is not a bison tube.

As always put everything back the way you found it. And we hope you take the time to read the different types of trees along the way. This is another part of the Lehigh Parkway in the Allentown Park area for you to enjoy.

We wish to THANK the Allentown Park Commissioners for allowing us to put caches in the parks for people to enjoy both the parks and caching.
