In the heart of Julian, please go when the snow is on the
ground. This is a beautiful place, this is to get you into town. The
recent fires of October 2003 spared Julian by the "BRAVE" efforts
of the firefighters. God Bless them all. Please remember Steve
Rucker and his family during your visit here.
A great town to visit during the fall and winter season and on the
way to Mt.Laguna on the Sunrise Hwy. This was the first time I was
able to go and I found the virtual site to share the town with you.
Please also go to N33° 04.647 and W116° 36.041 for some
great buffalo burgers.I really mean that too. The owner is
interested in any story of yours about Geocaching tales and may
want to buy a GPS. By the way I did offer this plug for him, he
thought it was great to be listed world wide in the geocache site.
Please be honest and just e-mail who the caretaker is. What the
year is on the plaque. How many guest were held against there will.
What kind of person is represented on top of the plaque.

February 6 by Syd and Dain (1552 found) It was raining really hard when we got to GZ, so we were glad of the shelter! Thanks for the interesting cache and the history lesson. Email with the answers is on the way.

February 3 by lennie47 and bookqueen (354 found) Been meaning to get to this quaint little town to enjoy its history. Pie is history, isn't it? Delish! Bet it was never served to the likes of those who stayed here, however.

January 30 by kootenay pirates (8137 found) DAY TWO of our "Escape the Cold and Snow Geocaching Adventure". Our geo-tour took us to Julian. We were amazed - there were people everywhere (not sure what the celebration was) and a steady stream of them were visiting the jailhouse. Sure glad this was a virtual. Always a pleasure to visit one of these rare caches. Thanks for the cache. Kootenay Pirates
