Follow the gravel logging road up the hill. At the beach, you have to scramble down rocks and over some logs, so be careful.
Cache is an Ammo Can and should be fairly easy to find. (No need to walk where people haven't obviously walked before.)
Following a gravel logging road, you'll pass several beautiful views of the river. Suddenly, the road slopes up and you'll find yourself using a bit more horsepower. After just a few minutes though, you'll find this small "beach" at the side of the Ashlu Creek.
You have to scramble down rocks and over some logs, so be careful.
Enjoy the solitude of the place...the sounds of the river...and when you find the cache, leave your wisdom, share your dreams, and show us your vision.
In a few months I'll take what's there, scan it, and make it available to all.
You do not have to go off any obvious pathways/trails to get here...in fact, the cache is only about 10m from the centre of the beach.
Note: my SIRF III only got 14m of accuracy here...
