Based on the
Storyboard: Nebit the Gnome
cache, this Role-Playing Game (RPG) is designed for GeoCachers to
play anywhere, either with a group or by themselves.
You will create a character from the Gnome homeland that is
searching for the missing Nebit. Along the way, your character will
encounter various Monsters.
By using a cache rating system, each cache will be associated with
a Monster that the Character can try to defeat. The Monster will be
different depending on if you are caching in an Urban or Rural
setting. The harder the cache is to find, the harder the Monster
will be to defeat.
As you defeat Monsters, your character will gain levels, skills,
& items. These things will help your character become stronger
and be able to defeat different types of Monsters. Each character
class has abilities that also help defeat certain Monsters.
All you will need to play the game is a Player’s Handbook, a
character, writing utensil, and of course the tools required to go
GeoCaching. A message board has been set up in order to provide the
game files needed and create a place where you can write entries of
your character’s adventures. This is an optional aspect and is not
required to play the game.
Playing the RPG is not required to find the cache.

The original contents of the cache include;
Character Sheets - Can be folded and put into plastic
sleeves. Some trimming may be needed for it to fit.
Red Deck Box - Holds plastic sleeves for Character
Sheets.
Black Deck Box - Holds plastic sleeves for the
Graveyard.
Forum Gems/Runes - See the Player's Handbook for
description. The Runes are for players whose characters are
Wizards.
