This is one of only 2 caches here with a 24 hr. availability. This one however, is not available during the winter months from Dec - Mar. It will return in April. Please be careful as it is quite close to the road. Take a seat on the really low bench and watch the traffic fly by!!! Don’t worry about the park rangers at the office, they don’t bite.
The cache is hidden at the office of Hop Brook Lake Park. Hop Brook is a US Army Corps of Engineers park. We have received permission from the Corps to place this cache. The park is open from 8:00 a.m. – about a half hour before sunset or 8pm.. There is a fee $4.00 per vehicle to enter the park (the park and fee booth is open the weekend before Memorial Day to the weekend after Labor Day). Fee booth attendants and kiosks in the park have maps for you to use.
