Cache is at the bottom of a very steep canyon with lots of brush. Not recommended for the light of heart.
How did these vintage cars get to the bottom of this canyon? I've asked myself that question many times and still have no answer. One scenario could be...
Many moons ago, when the popular Leif Erickson Drive was passable by auto, two vehicles raced down a dirt road... one took a wrong turn. It was a moonless night and the air was cold; headlights broke the fog, and the noise of the engines were like thunder. Suddenly, one car hit a pit of mud and lost control; it swerved and struck the opponent, causing them to lose their grip and make a fatal error.
Seconds later, there was only silence; all was quiet and legend was born. Come and see the remnants of that night and stand in awe at the aging of once beautiful autos.
Seriously... how in the heck did these cars end up here? We may never know... but have fun making the journey to witness the evidence!
