In a National Seashore area in Eastham. (There really is no
fort...)
NOTE: The item at the cache location is unavailable as of Winter
'05 due to trail maintenance at this site.
I still recommend going to the area, but until further notice you
will be unable to find the object at this cache.
There are multiple places to park, depending on traffic, and how
many people are around.
You can get to the cache point from either of the following two
parking locations. Although the second one is a nicer place to
park. Sometimes its also the busiest.
Lot 1: 41° 49.132N 069° 57.878W
Lot 2: 41° 49.094N 069° 57.720W
This is a beautiful area with a very diverse landscape. Spend
some time walking around or just hanging out at the cache point.
Theres a beautiful view.
You can walk down to the water or take a walk through a red
cedar swamp. I suggest doing them all. Although watch out for the
overabundance of Poison Ivy. Its prevalent but easily
avoidable.

November 20 by MT Pool (77 found) Nice area and it was off season. Thanks, M.T.
[view this log] | November 15 by Xoxi (144 found) thanks for showing these beautiful hiking trails! After the cache I went to the Visitor Center and asked for recommended trails at today's foggy weather - they recommended these trails and were dissappointed that I had done them already!
