Ziplock Bag Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Moun10Bike: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Although this area is wheelchair friendly, there is a HUGE hill that might be difficult to get up. The cache is placed in an area that during a hot, summer day might be a little crowded with Muggles so try to be kinda careful. This cache is designed to be found by kids, families, and newcomers to caching, but all are welcome. If you are super experienced, you might find it a little easy, but again, it is designed for kids, families, or newbies.

The first log entry has different coordinates from the ones we got (we went back and checked them today and it gave us the same reading so maybe the UFO's satelites are messing with ours). The Ziplock Bag Cache is in a green Rubbermaid snap-lid container. There is an official Geocaching sticker on the top. This cache should be dry when you get it because everything placed in it (well, that will fit) is put into its own Ziplock bag. I ask that as you place your item, you remove the item you are taking from the bag and put your item inside the bag. That way, things won’t get all dirty and rotty and we don’t have to keep a bunch of Ziplock bags in the cache. The logbook and pens/pencils are in a Ziplock bag that is guarded by our lion to keep it safe. PLEASE leave our logbook, pens/pencils, and our lion (we love him). The cache, when placed on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 (my buddy Erin Millman’s birthday) contained: Cache In/Trash Out bag, KinderCare water bottle, Glass and gold picture frame, Drinking glass from The Spaghetti Factory, Teddy bear, Magnet kit, Fiber optic wand, VHS tape The Dark Crystal, Unpoppable bubbles and wand, Ceramic candleholder, Stuffed Hello Kitty, Glow-in-the-dark skeleton PEZ dispenser, Woody (from Toy Story) straw, Science Adventures antenna ball, Patriotic noisemaker, K’nex, State capitals magnetic game, Volcanic rock and shell, United States of America decorative flag, Galaxy slime, Deck of playing cards,, Fake paper money, NASCAR trading card, Silly Putty, Wooden picture frame, Tape measure, Zinnia and Wildflower seeds, Army men, Golf tees,, Nightmare Before Christmas antenna ball, Wooden jewelry box, Slinky, Assorted magnets (Goofy, Metro, Schnauzer), Shark, Brooch, $100 pencil, XXX bracelet, 10% off Gordon Biersch coupons, Three free passes to the Shoreline swimming pool, Seattle aquarium guest passes, 2 rubber bounce balls Keep our cache cool by following all of the regular Geocaching rules. Travel bugs are welcome to camp here. If someone wants to leave a stamp and make it into a letterbox, feel free. Thanks for playing!
