Geocache Description:

A short walk into a public hunting area. This is the 3rd of three into this area of public land at the start of the Carter Creek. Container is an ammo can with log book and assorted goodies. A presidential gold dollar for the FTF.

The area seems to have had a storm at some time and there are some downed trees here. Great hiding place for a traditional cache. This a great area to walk around in. Not a lot of water, but can be soggy in areas sometimes. Cache is high and dry. This hunting area is off the beaten path, and not used a whole lot, other than at deer hunting. There are trout in the Carter we are told. Park at N44 05.658 W089 35.593. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Paul Somerdyke of the Wisconsin DNR office in Wautoma. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
