Geocache Description:

Join geocachers and earth-advocates around the world on this special CITO service weekend! Join Naturalist Craig Spicer and Outreach Coordinator for Partners for Clean Streams Ava Slotnick to help clean up Otsego Park's floodplain while embarking on a modern treasure hunt using our GPS units to explore the park OR you can register to help cleanup only!


Meet in the Thompson Stone Hall promptly at 1:00pm for a brief overview of our mission and equipment handout. Program officially ends at 3:00pm but stay and help as you like! Dress to get dirty, be prepared for brief self-guided exploration off- trail with slightly rougher terrain. A change of clothes and shoes is recommended. GPS units, Clean up equipment, drinking water, and hand-sanitizer will will be provided. Leader: Craig Spicer

Be sure to sign up for the "Cache-In-Trash-Out" GEOCACHING program for an introductory geocaching course, or for the CLEANUP only. We are only able to accommodate a limited group, so please sign up if you are attending and plan accordingly.
