A flat walk across fields and a couple of stiles. It can be muddy in parts if wet. The public footpath crosses a railway line so follow the instructions on the signs - STOP LOOK LISTEN and Take Care!
You may have read Joseph Heller's novel "Catch-22" about fighter pilots in WW2. The flying was was so dangerous it was insane.
The only way to get out of flying was to prove you were insane. But the pilots who did realise that the flying was insane had to be sane because they realised that flying was insane.
It's called Catch-22 . . .
