Geocache Description:

THIS IS A CLIFF TOP CACHE. KEEP HOLD OF YOUNG CHILDREN!

A Polish tourist fell over the cliff and died on Easter Sunday 2009 just a couple of hundred metres from here. R.I.P. Please be careful.

BRING A PEN!!!

35mm Film container. Nice easy cache and dash, or stop a while at this well known local viewpoint and cafe.

This cache will eventually form part of a series, taking in a stroll along the cliffs towards Dover. Watch this space...

The cafe was completely rebuilt a few years ago, and now has a much improved indoor dining area for those (in)famous British summer days when the rain comes down sideways.

Magnificent views across the channel to France, or west to Dungeness, on a clear day. See if you can spot the wind farm at Boulogne. You'll need binoculars!

On a bad day, you'll be lucky to see your hand in front of your face. Capel-le-Ferne is the second foggiest place in Britain, after Snowdon.
I know. I grew up there...

Cafe open weekends in winter, if the weather is fine. Open every day in the summer.

Cache, in car park, accessible 24/7/365. Watch out for muggles, as it can get very busy. When cafe is closed, access via path to right of hedge.

Wheelchair access to cache when cafe is open. When cafe is closed, you will need a helper, and a rugged chair.

Well done to MeerRescue, the ever present thorn in the side of local FTF hunters! Found just 80 minutes after "Go live". Dedication's what you need. (Roy Castle.)
