Geocache Description:

The date this cache was submitted was 7/11. It's my 711th cache.

All good things must come to an end. Now that I'm a senior citizen, I have to accept that I no longer possess the energy, strength and stamina to continue scrambling all over creation placing caches. I now pass the baton into your hands. Carry it well. I intend to spend whatever time remains to me sitting on the front porch in my rocking chair, watching other people busily scurrying around doing things (sigh). Some days may find me at the senior center, playing an exciting game of checkers, that is, if I can find someone with the strength to move my men around the board for me (sigh). I would like to thank those of you who gave me kind words of encouragement and support (both of you). If I have any skill at finding hiding spots or of placing caches, much of the credit belongs to OReviewer. I have learned much about caching under his guiding hand (and I'm not just saying this to butter him up so he'll publish my cache!).

Whenever you get stuck by a pricker, pluck a tick off yourself or slip in the mud, think of me.

The cache contains a log only. BYOP and an extraction tool. No credit without your signature. Please replace as I left it, for the next person's "benefit". Park on the wide grassy/gravel shoulder next to the pumping station driveway. Don't block the gate.

The cache holder may cause you to think of the kind of person I might be.
