Geocache Description:

Cache is not at the listed coordinates. Listed coordinates are for parking. To get the coordinates and find this cache you must locate 7-Ball A, B, and C and the appropriate information (see below).

A relatively short walk along the lower end of the El Dorado Irrigation Ditch.
Unlike it's counterpart above the Forebay, this portion of the ditch is used strictly for irrigation of many Apple Hill farms and not as a source of power or drinking water.
For those that have not done any others in the Ditch series, this one is a bit different. At points along the way you may see houses, people or hear vehicles on nearby Blair Road. You are unlikely to encounter any of those scenarios on the sister caches above the Forebay.
In order to find this cache, you will need to get 3 sets of cooordinates from caches Ride The Ridge, Baltic Ave, and Peninsula Peak. One stage will lead you to part of the combination to a lock, another will lead you to the rest of the combination of the lock, and the third is obviously the physical cache. Some folks may try to take "shortcuts" to each of the stages. I would not suggest it for the following reasons:
1) It is a nice walk (or bike ride).
2) It will probably take you longer to find the closest access than it will to walk it.
3) You will be trespassing on private property
If you have kids and they don't mind walking a mile or two, bring them along. They will surely enjoy the final stage. The walk is all on level ground except for a few hundred feet.

IMPORTANT - both the coordinates and HINTS for the lock combination and physical cache are in the respective caches. Please take note of them. You will need the hints because reception is INCREDIBLY POOR. I can assure you that the coordinates will only put you in the right vicinity. You will NEED the hints to find this cache! .

To find the final stage you will have to cross the ditch. There is an easy way and a hard way. The easy way will be apparent when you get to the "B" portion of the lock combo.
Please try to cover the last stage back up well. I'm concerned about water damage. Please let me know if it looks like the outside container is showing signs of damage and I'll have to think about Plan B
