The Necronomicron Ex-Mortis. Originally written in ancient Sumerian by "The Dark Ones", it is believed to contain all the knowledge of this mysterious order, and the necessary incantations to summon them. Many supernatural, oftentimes dark, events have been linked to them. Various versions of the book have been discovered by a lone hero named Ash, who has used his growing knowledge of the book to try and collect each of the versions, and eventually destroy them. This included the discovery that the book could be used to travel through time.
Each version of the book is bound in the flesh of the tortured victims of the Dark Ones, the contained text written in their blood. It was our hero who discovered that it wasn't so much the text that gave the book it's powers, but the very binding on the book. The text was merely a way to provide the reader with instructions for how to use the book for their own desires.
Recently, an unfinished version of the book was discovered. When first discovered, it appeared that someone had finally deciphered a section of the book that had remained a mystery throughout the many centuries since the Dark Ones first came to power. This particular section contained instructions for how to build more books. Just before the newly discovered book was stolen, our hero confirmed that the book's powers were active. All that was left to do was to write the book itself.
Clues have led us to believe the book is located nearby. There are additional clues in the area that might lead to the final location. Ash is busy tracking down a book that is already being used and has asked us to find this still unfinished book. As with most run-ins with the book, you will need to do this at night. The person who was making this new book is a trickster and didn't make it easy for people to find. You must solve any puzzles you find if you want to have any luck in tracking down the book before it's owner moves it. As Ash was leaving for his current quest, he handed over the following image as a clue and gave some instructions. Only part of what he said was heard, but there was something about finding the true starting location in the image and that the image will likely be needed while on the trail and that we shouldn't lose it.
