This is about a 2 (thanx Geckos) mile RT hike. Some elevation change on trail. Slippery rocks near stream.
Cottonwood Creek
This is the first hike we took our dogs Jack and Birdie on after adopting Jack. Jack always finds some drama on our hikes and this one started it all. Jack went ahead of Birdie and then he tried to get back to her the shortest way possible, an inch thick ledge. He fell right into the pool at the bottom of a thankfully small waterfall. He was fine, we were not.
Parking (adventure pass required) is on East side of Sunrise HWY after the 15 mile marker (2 miles from I-8). Basic goodies in cache, some for kids some for grownups. FTF gets first pick!
