Geocache Description:

The purpose of this geocache is to show you a starting point where you can paddle your canoe or kayak locally.

If you have ever driven through Wellandport you have probably seen the remains of a support pillar in the Welland River, that is your destination. Your start point is the Wellandport Community Centre located on Regional Rd 63 at N43 00.236 W79 28.413. Drive to the very south end of the property and you will find another parking area with suitable access to the water. The small camo-taped container is less than a one kilometer trip from here. Enjoy your paddle.
