Geocache Description:

This is a fairly easy, kid friendly find and located not to far from parking (N42 21.202, W71 15.042). Cache is located in the vicinity of a large kettle hole and not to far off the trail.

This park abuts conservation land along the Charles River, has lots of open woods and is a great place to picnic and bird watch. There are ball fields, basketball and tennis courts, horse shoe pits and a 1+ mile course with exercise stations. There's also a great children's playground and a dedicated picnic table area. Follow the main trail one way to pristine suburban woods, the other way to recreation areas.

A Trail Map, clearly showing the kettle hole location, can be downloaded and printed from here: (visit link)
There's also one posted on a board at the entrance to the park.

The Charles River canoe/kayak place (visit link) isn't far from this location. If you're renting a boat, secure it at the "Cove" playground area landing and follow your GPS.

The trail also connects with the newly extended Charles River Bike Path which now runs from Commonwealth Ave in Newton to the Science Museum in Boston.
