High Mountains of Southern Wyoming - Snowy Range West of Laramie. Grassy, rocky, some trees, short walk at VERY high elevation.
You are looking for a standard green ammo can. Just off of State hwy 130 over the Snowy Mountain Range between Saratoga and Centennial Wyoming. Road is closed during Winter/inclement weather. Snowmobiles and Cross country skiers can reach this area when snow is present. Park at the Silver Lake trail head (and near a Wyoming wildlife sign). Short walk down a somewhat rocky hillside to cache location - parking is within 250 yards of cache site. Please rehide cache VERY well. Difficulty is a bit higher due to the 10,620 foot elevation and the extra excertion needed at these altitudes.
