Geocache Description:

Future extension of the Olympic Discovery Trail

The Olympic Discovery Trail is very prominate from Sequim to Port Angeles and is open to pedestrians and bicyclist. The trail starts up again off Highway 112, just past the Elwha River Bridge and heads up into the mountains eventually reaching Lake Crescent.

At the Dry Creek Drainage there used to be a large trestle bridge for the railroad, but it was destroyed by fire. The cache is accessible from both sides of the creek most of the time, but is easily accessable from the west end of the bridge.

Please rehide the cache like you found it!

Congratulations to pcakes for the FTF, especially since he made the approach from the east side of the drainage before the bridge was built.
