steve0mania: Well, this one had a nice little run, but unfortunately, these containers don't like being out in the elements for prolonged periods of time. Thus, it's time to say goodbye. Thanks to those who have sought it out, and thanks to Peconic Bay Sailors for cleaning up our geotrash! Maybe the next incarnation of this cache will have to pay tribute to a different diner!

Geocache Description:

A tribute to one of my favorite Jersey things--Diners!

I moved out of New Jersey 20 years ago, but there are some things that I still miss. One of these is diners! I remember going out with my friends to see bands play and stuff, and afterwards, we'd always go to a diner. Boy do I miss that! In any case, this cache overlooks a local diner that we ate at a lot while we were here visiting my folks (who still live here). The cache is a "pico" cache with a log only, and you better remember your tweezers to extract the log, and a pencil to log it with. There's no room for trades in this one. Have fun!!!

Note: you can park very close to this cache, or it can be accessed via the local sidewalk. Folks in wheelchairs can probably get to this one, too, but you'll need to get over a curb and take a short ride on some uneven terrain.
