Welcome to my Redwood Road"MacGyver Road" Cache Series

I have always loved this road and always thought it should have ALOT of caches on it, instead of next to none, and I've been trying to place a cache named for every episode of my favorite TV Show, so here's my attempt at two birds with one stone.

Highway 68 is one of my favorite drives, at night it's awesome, I think I saw about 25 owls the night I placed this cache, plus antelope, deer, snakes, and smakes ( which if you're wondering what that is you'll just have to come here at night and find out ) and a whole lot more. I thought it would be neat to place a cache exactly Forty Degrees ( episode 40 ) north of the equator. ( See Forty Degrees on '6 )

Spent the afternoon job hunting so I rewarded my self with a caching run. I tried to set a new one day best.

I am going out to finish the caches along State 68. This is Number 9

 December 5, 2009 by Me & Bucky (8275 found)

An amazing day of caching around Utah Lake today! Began along the Shakespear/MacGyver road west of Utah Lake, bagged some of the caches on and around Lake Mountain, continued with finding some on the east side of the lake, then finished up with the "L" series north of Santiquin. All in all, simply a fantastic day!!

Began before sunrise in the pitch black of pre-dawn around 6:00 am. It was achingly cold because of the clear sky, but that would soon change. With sunrise, a little heat got into the air, and the clouds began forming. Around noon a front went through, snow began lightly falling, and by around 2:30, it was coming down hard enough that it was very difficult to see farther than 200 yards. After finishing up the "L", it was time to skedaddle, and Bucky & I headed back down to Vegas.

Thanks for the cache!!
