Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the local town park and boat landing

The Algerine Coast looks west from Mount Desert Island and is a beautiful location to pack a picnic lunch or bring along something that can be cooked on an open fire. Locals build fires below the high tide mark and steam lobsters, clams and other items and is a widely used location to hold a family get together. I grew up less than 2 miles from here and used to bike to the shore and go fishing. Now I drive my Jeep when I'm down visiting my parents.

This cache began a Jeep themed cache in honor of Camp Jeep 2005. All items in the cache to begin relate to Jeep but all items are welcome.

"HAPPY JEEPIN"
