Kurze, aber recht steile Bergwanderung zur Bichlbächler Alm. Gehdauer ca. 45 Minuten.
Short, but steep mountain hike to the "Bichlbächler Alm". Hiking time is about 45 minutes.
Bichlbächler Alm
Dies ist unser erster Cache! Er befindet sich, wie der Name schon verrät, auf der Bichlbächler Alm.
This is our first Cache! It's located at the "Bichlbächler Alm".
Am angegebenen Wegpunkt könnt ihr parken und geht dann die Straße noch einige Meter nach oben. Hier befindet sich das Gasthaus Bergmandl, neben dessen Terrasse der Wanderweg Richtung Bleispitze beginnt. Dieser Weg zwischen grünen Wiesen und dem Weittalbach führt euch auch zur Bichlbächler Alm.
Nach ein paar Minuten wird der Weg von einer Lawine unterbrochen, die dort meist bis in den Sommer hinein über dem Bachbett liegt. Falls der Schnee bereits weggetaut ist, sollte eine Brücke über den Bach führen, ansonsten sucht euch eine sichere Stelle, um ihn auf der Lawine zu überqueren. Nach einigen Metern beginnt dann ein Trampelpfad, der euch in steilen Serpentinen durch den Wald nach oben führt.
You can park your car at the stated waypoint. From here you have to go up the street a few meters. The way to the “Bleispitze” starts next to the terrace of “Gasthaus Bergmandl”. This way also leads you between green grassland and the “Weittalbach” up to the “Bichlbächler Alm”.
After a few minutes an avalanche intercepts the way. If the snow is already gone, there should be a bridge over the creek. Otherwise you have to find a save area to cross the avalanche. A few meters above a small trail begins and leads you in serpentines up through the wood.
Nach insgesamt etwa 45 Minuten erreicht ihr dann die Alm. Sie ist nicht bewirtschaftet, doch ein Brunnen mit Trinkwasser, eine Bank und saftige Wiesen laden zu einem Picknick ein.
After allover about 45 minutes you reach the alp. It's a nice place to have a little picknick.
Nachdem ihr die schöne Alm genossen und hoffentlich den Cache gefunden habt, könnt ihr entweder den gleichen Weg wieder zurück nach Bichlbächle gehen oder ihr wagt euch an die Besteigung der 2.225 Meter hohen Bleispitze (siehe Geocache Bleispitze).
When you enjoyed the alp and hopefully found the cache, you can either take the same way back to your car, or you can go risk the ascent of the 2.225 mountain peak "Bleispitze" (see our other cache:Geocache Bleispitze)
In jedem Fall kann sich der durstige Geocacher im Gasthaus Bergmandl mit einem kühlen Getränk belohnen.
One way or the other you can reward yourself with some refreshment at the "Gasthaus Bergmandl" in Bichlbächle.
