Like a north star this prose will direct
Right to the cache which you want to detect.
Composed of subjects, objects, and prepositional phrases
Within the text an interesting cipher it raises.
Solving it requires no math, just the directive
To look at it boldy from the language arts perspective.
In a jumble of words you search for the key
But no numbers jump out, what the heck could it be?
Like a country bumpkin from West Virginia you ask
How much fetchin' up do I need for the task?
With a very bad case of the run-ons and participles dangling
You know the language beyond all measure you're mangling.
So you look for a break in the gerunds and tenses
Hoping that something might just tickle the senses
Ignoring verbs and adverbs as the chase hits its peak
Because it is the definite article you seek.
