Geocache Description:

St. Plegmund's Well.
The cache is hidden at St. Plegmund's Well near Mickle Trafford.
St. Plegmund was an Eremite monk who lived on the 'Isle of Chester' and later, in AD 890,
became Archbishop of Canterbury and advisor to King Alfred.
The well has an ornate surround and was restored a few years ago as was the tradition of well dressing which takes place in June.
