Magical Mystery Tour
Roll up (And
that's an invitation), roll up for the mystery tour
Roll up (To make a reservation), roll up for the
mystery tour
The magical mystery tour is coming to take you
away
Coming to take you away
The magical mystery tour is dying to take you
away
Dying to take you away, take you today
Ah yes...the tour. Magical, and yet a mystery until it takes you
away. This tour will take you along an adventure that will prove to
be pleasing. You'll pass through several different terrains
and see many beautiful areas that one can embrace. I want you to
enjoy a day out in the woods. This is not to be hurried, but
enjoyed. It's a tour...make it magical.
Yellow. That is the trail you'll want to stay on. It'll branch off
at certain points with red, but stay with yellow. This is an
equestrian trail and may be a little rugged for bikes. I biked
it when out finding spots for my hides and I can tell you there are
some rough spots if you choose to do so. Please, when approaching a
person on horseback, pull over and stop (if on bicycles) to allow
them to pass without spooking the horse(s).
Their will also be a couple areas that might prove challenging for
small childen and older dogs. But these were unavoidable in
accomplishing where I wanted to take you. I will note this on the
stage#.. Some areas could be a pita without a little guidance. I
will note these as well and offer a waypoint for entry. My
intention is not one to make this difficult, but pleasurable. I
hope you enjoy this as I have put a lot of work into it.
OK, here's how it works. No brain teasers here. The posted coord on
this page will take you to the first stage. Each cache holds the
coords for the next stage. That simple...
Below are the coords where to park. If you are planning on doing
the whole series, I strongly suggest that you do so since
you'll end up right back where you started. At the end of the
parking area, their is a dirt path heading west that will lead you
to the main trail. Once you come upon the trail, hang a left
and you are off.
Since their is a log book in each stage cache, feel free to log as
many stages that you found. I will periodically go out and check
the log books to compare. I will delete any logs that I don't find
in the books.
Enjoy my
friends........KroBro

2. The Fool
On The Hill
You'll pass by McLongy (GCNB4Y) if you
care to nab that one also.
After nabbing this, continue south on the yellow trail
crossing 119th st. Then you'll see where it will take you
under LaGrange Rd. to continue the tour
3.
Flying
Boots could
will come in handy here
4. Blue Jay
Way
5. Your Mother
Should Know
6. I Am The
Walrus
If you haven't logged another one of my caches, Sauer Puss, it's only 2/10th's of a mile from this one
in a straight line. Russ Never Sleeps is another of mine that resides between this,
and stage 7.
7. Hello
Goodbye
8. Strawberry Fields
Forever
After cache, get back on the trail
and head out and cross the street (104th) to continue.
9. Penny
Lane
This one is gonna be rough terrain-wise. Very difficult with any
type of moisture being from rain or snow. Go past when you peg a
90º on yer GPSr and you'll soon see a path that will take you to
the cache. After your done, head straight out pass the slides and
continue on other side of the parking lot. If on bikes, you can
stay on the trail. It will head towards RT.83 and then come back on
the other side of the parking lot keeping you on the trail. You
will then head back under LaGrange Rd. A very beautiful view from
this cache.
10. Baby You're A Rich
Man
If you don't want to tackle this
from entry point, you can continue on the trail and you'll soon
come to another gravel trail taking you near cache. Might be better
if on bikes.
11. All You Need Is Love
There's nothing you can do that can't be done
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung
Nothing you can say but you can learn how they play the game
It's easy
After logging cache, stay on the trail and you'll soon be back
at your car. I sincerely hope you had a little fun on the tour. I
know I did putting it together. So with that, remember this...Love
Is All You Need.
Their
are no bonus caches after you complete the eleven stage series.
Some don't like to, but you are can post a log for each cache you
find in this series. And why not? You spent a good amount of time
hunting them?
I have created a route that you
can use to pull a PQ of nearby caches along the way. It can be
found here.
Also, you will come across a shelter between stages eight and nine,
so pack a lunch and take a break.
lele2 asked me to state the following:
Bring plenty of water as
their is none along the way. But then, you knew to do
that...
