Geocache Description:

Join The Tick-Magnets on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm for "No Tricks, Just Treats 5 ... I Don't Like Spiders and Snakes!"

For the 5th year in a row, The Tick-Magnets are hosting NTJT! It's a Halloween geo-event with your fellow cachers, and the best part is, everyone leaves with a treat!

At the event, you’ll receive coordinates to a hidden cache. Once you find the cache, it’s yours to keep! That’s right, you keep the container and everything in it! No Tricks, Just Treats!

Here's how it works:

Before the event, you HIDE a geocache somewhere in the Houston County area (small or regular only … no micros). Use a cache-ready container (water-tight, ready for action). Fill it with whatever you’d like: cool swag, a new geocoin or travel bug, a pathtag, or other treats a fellow cacher might enjoy!

Carefully note the coordinates, and write them on a small piece of paper. THESE CACHES WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED! DO NOT SUBMIT THEM FOR PUBLISHING ON GEOCACHING.COM!

At the event, we’ll have a fun exchange - if you hide a cache before the event, you can be in the exchange! You’ll get the coords for a cache that someone else has hidden, then you can go search for your treat! Once you find the cache, it is yours to keep! You keep the container and everything in it! No Tricks, Just Treats!

Game Rules:

1. Cachers who hide a container and bring the coordinates can participate in the exchange. If you hide one cache, you can find one cache. For caching families, why not hide containers from each of you? That way, each family member can participate in the exchange! More treats for everyone!

2. Only small and regular cache containers. Use a cache-ready container.

3. Fill it with any treats you’d like! Remember, it’s going to be a gift for a fellow cacher, so include caching treats that YOU would want!

4. LIMIT $10-15! This is supposed to be fun, not costly – the idea is just to put a new twist on a game we all love!

5. Check, re-check, and double-check your coordinates. You WANT your fellow cacher to find the cache. D/T ratings of 2/2 or lower are ideal. THESE CACHES WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED! DO NOT SUBMIT THEM FOR PUBLISHING ON GEOCACHING.COM!

6. After the event, make sure to log as “Attended.” Then when you find YOUR treat, post a note to thank the hider and tell about your adventure! (We LOVE reading the stories!!!)

We’ll only be at the actual event from 7 pm to 8 pm, then we'll all head out to find our caches in the dark! Even if you are not participating in the cache exchange, please feel stop by the event to visit with your fellow Middle Georgia Cachers - we always have a caching tale to tell!

Contact TTM if you have any questions - we can't wait for all the creative hides! See you there!
