Along the way to Mentryville
This is an easy park and grab on the way in to Mentryville. The day
I placed this, the film crew was setting up to start filming the
new season of Big Love.
The cache has now been relocated such that you do not need to
leave the road....apparently the local ranger has been harassing
cachers who leave the road while hiking...even if for just a few
feet. The new location fixes that.

Had a hiker trailling me from the last parking spot. Did the old "man I thirsty! I'll just stand here and have a sip of water" rutine. this allowed me to search for the cache after the coast was clear. Picked up travel bug. TFTC

Took an afternoon hike with Mrs. Birchland's dad (1/2 of Team Fireballs) and the fur kids. What a great day! The weather was cool and nice and on the sunset walk back we saw not only deer, but a beautiful fox. Thanks for putting a cache here and making it that much more fun. Traded bug for Canada Mtn #2 Geocoin.
