"The World " is the only daily newspaper published on the Southern Oregon Coast. The Coast Mail was first published in 1878, Later called The Coos Bay Times and then changed to "The World " in the 1960's. In 2005 "The World" was purchased by Lee Enterprises, creating a Family of 58 newspapers in 23 states, making it the 4th Largest Newspaper Group in the United States.
Due to construction this cache has been moved acrossed the street from it's original location at The World.
