Stanley's Backyard
Where you will park
your car, my old childhood friend Stanley had his house. In the
1960's the land was acquired by the state and the local Fire
Department used the house for training and burned it
down.
What used to be his
backyard, is now the path to the cache. I wish I had a picture of
the old house. If I ever see Stanley again, I'll ask him for one. I
haven't seen him since around 1973, so don't hold your
breath.
Where the canal
and river meet.
Most of your
journey will be on well established paths. Perhaps at the very end,
you may have to bushwack. This may not be easy during winter
snows.
There is a camera
in the cache for you to take a picture.
Use care in
closing the box. It could be tricky.
