This cache is in the Kitchell Dune Preserve in Grand Haven's North Shore area. It's a 20 minute hike on steep, sandy paths from the parking area. Expect windy weather and an occasional glimpse of deer.
The cache is high on a hill above and behind Grand Haven's Musical Fountain. In the summer months the "Talking Mountain", as some kids refer to it, puts on a colored light/water show to the accompaniment of everything from Glen Miller's Orchestra to U2.
From the cache site you can look down on downtown Grand Haven, the Grand River, the local ski hill, and Lake Michigan.
