This is a real pretty spot high above a desert wash. Small 4-wheel drive, high clearance vehicle required. (Or mule or horse or shank's mare.) It's a neat drive for four-wheelers and you may spot deer & javelina on the drive.
Cauition! This road is pretty overgrown in many spots so if you value the paint on your vehicle don't try this. ATVs will do just fine except for some pretty rough rocky spots where expertise is required. I took my stock Jeep Rubicon with no problems except the new desert pin stripes from the bushes. Trail seems to end at a wash so you have to drive down the wash from the north for a bit until the trail resumes. I came in from the north which I highly recommend due to some pretty steep rocky areas. Suggest you look at a map to figure your access points at both ends. Cache is a 8" long camo PVC tube containing pencil, log, misc. trinkets and a dollar bill for the FTF. It is easily visible from the proper angle.
Hope this interests you off roaders.
