Geocache Description:

Help keep the Appleton trails clean. We will be cleaning the Newberry Trail from Lawe St. to Telulah Park.

There will be commemorative wooden nickels for the attendees. Due to it being a "Not SO Superfund" event, budget constraints did not allow for real trackable coins.

It's my job to be cleaning up this mess And that's enough reason to go for me.-Jimmy Buffett

On April 21st we will meet at the posted coords. In the Shelter.

Registration will begin at 9:00 AM
Work will start at 10:00 AM

Please bring your own gloves and be ready to work for 4-5 hours. The Appleton park and recs. department asks that everyone fill out a release form prior working. Adults and Minors. Which will be available at registration. If you under the age of 18 and will not have a parent present to sign the form please email me through my profile for further details.

There is a huge grill at the shelter. Bring your own meat/bocca and a dish to pass.
We will provide the charcoal. To ensure variety, please bring an item based on your last name, as shown below:

LAST NAME A-H: desserts or sweets
LAST NAME I-P: salad, fruit, and/or vegetables
LAST NAME Q-Z: chips, crackers or other crunchies!

There will be some caching activities after Lunch/Dinner. Have your PQ ready if you'd like. Yes, there will be some temps involved. But I am not going to say anymore than that.(See Foot note below) We will also be placing a commemorative cache with a CITO theme so bring along a swag item to place in the cache.

The park also has swing, slides, and all those fun things for the little ones. For the little bit older ones there is a frisbee golf course.

The restrooms will be open for use.

A special thanks to Tim McGuire and the Appleton Park and Recs. Department for allowing us the use of the shelter and providing us with the trash bags. More thanks to Team Bear Bear for all the time and effort they put in helping out with the post cleanup fun. Also to Sonoco Neenah for their support.
