A cache on the stony beach at the end of Maree
A leisurely ride/walk/drive through the countryside in Maree can be accessed from Oranmore or Clarinbridge.
The cache is located at a spot that avails of panoramic views of Galway Bay. A short walk from the launching pier, it's quite a windy walk so be sure to bring a hat!
The pier (and parking) is 1.3 miles past Maree Church...and .4 miles past Ballinacourty Cemetery ...Keep straight and follow the road around until you can see the bay, and within a few hundred feet, you will see a thatched roofed house on the left. Make a left there and go down to the parking area. A map to the parking area can be found here:
