Geocache Description:

A traditional cache in a part of Cong not visited as often as it should be.

Many folks come to Cong because of its association with the movie The Quiet Man. But there is actually more to this little village than the reproduction of John Wayne's cottage and the ''Quiet Man'' Cafe.

A short walk from the main square there is a very nice trail through the woodlands. This cache is at the start of the trail, near the Monk's Fishing House.
