Geocache Description:

This cache will take you to a nice neighborhood park and a point of interest that will provide information about many types of native Nebraska trees. The cache is easily accessible from a paved walking path but is well hidden.

The Huntington Park neighborhood is home to, surprisingly enough, Huntington Park. It's a nice little neighborhood park with tennis courts, swings, a large kids' jungle gym, picnic tables and nice statuary. Bring the kids for this hunt and play in the park before or after. The cache is well hidden in a small (1.8 ml) vial covered in camouflage duct tape. Near the cache you will find a sign labelled Native Trees of Nebraska. If you are unfamiliar with Nebraska's native trees, I recommend you take a few minutes to read the sign and check out the trees. You'll also find one of the largest Cottonwood trees in the area just north of the cache. Be careful of Muggles as both the park and nearby trail are well-used. Bring a small pocket knife or tweezers to remove the log and pencil from the container as it is a tight fit. Please be sure to put the cache back exactly as you found it and make sure the lid is on tight. I established the coordinates by averaging but was getting only a 26 ft. accuracy reading.
