The castle is built on the hill of "Col Palis", the first known traces of the castle are of 1196DC, since then it has been a fortress of the noble familes of the area, since the XVII century, the castle has been abandoned. Recently it has been renovated and soom excavations brought up some interesting historical findings (exposed in Villa Savorgnan at the town of Lestans).
